Psychotherapy in English · Online, across time zones

A grounded space to know yourself, in your own language

I'm Gabriel Oliveira Gama Narici, a clinical psychologist (CRP 03/15783) based in Salvador, Brazil, working with a Jungian (Analytical Psychology) approach. I offer online psychotherapy in fluent English for expats living in Brazil and for Brazilians living abroad, wherever you are.

Who this is for

Living across cultures brings its own kind of psychological work

Whether you're an expat adjusting to life in Brazil, or a Brazilian living abroad navigating distance, identity and belonging, therapy in a language you feel truly fluent in can make a real difference. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, burnout, mood and personality difficulties, life transitions, and broader questions of self-understanding.

Many people I work with are drawn to depth-oriented, reflective therapy rather than short, symptom-focused fixes — people who want to understand their own patterns, not just manage them.

This may be a good fit if you are

  • An expat living in Brazil, wanting therapy without a language barrier
  • A Brazilian living abroad, navigating distance, identity or belonging
  • An English speaker anywhere, looking for a Jungian, depth-oriented approach
  • Someone who prefers ongoing, reflective work over quick, surface-level advice
The approach

What a Jungian approach means, in plain terms

Individuation

Carl Gustav Jung described individuation as the lifelong process of becoming more whole and more authentically yourself — integrating aspects of yourself that were previously dissociated or unrecognized.

Shadow work

The "shadow" refers to everything we tend to avoid recognizing in ourselves. Jungian therapy doesn't aim to eliminate these parts, but to create space where they can be understood and, gradually, integrated with less suffering.

Symbol and meaning

Dreams, images and personal narratives are treated as the symbolic language of the psyche. Working with this material deepens your understanding of your own trajectory — without formulas or hasty interpretations.

In practice, this looks like attentive listening, working through emotional material, and building meaning together — always at the pace that fits your own process.

Format

Online sessions, built around your time zone

All English-language sessions happen by secure video call, so distance is not a barrier. I regularly work with clients across the Americas, Europe, the UK and Australia, and we find a recurring weekly time that works with your schedule and time zone — not just mine.

There are no listed prices on this website: fees, cadence and scheduling are discussed individually during your initial conversation, once we understand what you're looking for.

What to expect from the format

  • Confidential, ongoing sessions by video call
  • A consistent weekly (or agreed) time slot in your own time zone
  • Sessions conducted entirely in English
  • Same clinical and ethical standards as in-person care in Brazil

Before you begin

Yes. Sessions follow the confidentiality standards of the Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology (CFP), the same professional and ethical rules that apply to in-person care. What is shared in session stays between us, with the legal exceptions that apply to any clinical practice (such as imminent risk to life).

Sessions happen by video call, at a consistent weekly time agreed together, adjusted to your time zone. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection.
